In total 40+ fully automated Crestron and Polycom Skype for Business meeting spaces were installed; including standard, small, medium and large meeting rooms; collaborative huddle spaces; conference rooms, boardrooms and a simulator room. All meeting spaces are equipped with Crestron Fusion scheduling and 7” Crestron Room Booking touch screens.
While the spaces had various layouts and purposes, TenFour specified standardised equipment to deliver a familiar user experience across all areas. Our solution was based around a centralized system using streaming encoders and decoders to transport all audio, video, control and network connectivity over the structured cabling. Rooms types were based on seating size and equipped for audio visual presentations onto a suitable sized LCD screen. Polycom Group Series codecs with Microsoft RTV Skype for Business licenses were implemented to deliver a full conferencing experience. All components are integrated for easy set up and control via an intuitively designed 10” Crestron Touch Panel that allows end users to conduct meetings efficiently and confidently.
Once installation was successfully completed on all five levels at Waikoukou, TenFour systematically completed installation works at Transpower’s additional sites.
TenFour continue to work closely with Transpower and provide 24/7 support under a service level agreement.
The TenFour implementation team were excellent to deal with. They often went above and beyond what was expected of them in order to ensure all rooms at Transpower’s new building had the AV equipment installed within the tight timeframes.
