Goodman owns, develops and manages a portfolio of over $2 billion of modern, high quality industrial property in Auckland.
When it came to the 2017 refurbishment of its new office space, Goodman engaged TenFour to deliver a flexible, collaborative and functional technology solution that fit with its commitment to sustainable and environmentally friendly business practices.
Situated in the KPMG Centre in Auckland’s Viaduct Harbour, the Goodman offices included a variety of meeting rooms and areas with audio visual technology, such as a Boardroom, collaboration area, various meeting spaces and a social area.
While the spaces had various layouts and purposes, TenFour specified standardised equipment to deliver a familiar user experience across all areas. Crestron switching and control is used throughout, with Crestron room scheduling touch screens mounted outside each room. A productive tool for organisations with multiple conference rooms and meeting spaces, the touch screens allow Goodman staff and guests to see at-a-glance if a room is available or in use and to view details about the current meeting.
Commercial display screens are installed in social hubs, meeting rooms and collaboration zones. Additionally, Polycom Trio conference phones use a Skype for Business interface to connect meeting attendees. One touch join makes calls simple for staff to join conferences.
Goodman also selected an 84” Microsoft Surface Hub for their 10-person meeting room. Built for teamwork, the Surface Hub is an interactive and touch responsive digital whiteboard with integrated Skype for Business conferencing. Staff can pull multimedia and content from apps, connect multiple devices wirelessly and share content effortlessly.
TenFour continue to work with Goodman on their ongoing technology requirements.
