About them:

Auckland DHB have three main facilities in Auckland (Starship Children’s Hospital, Greenlane Clinical Centre and Auckland City Hospital). They provide a large number of health service to their surrounding community having a reliable audio visual system for their brand new administration suite was essential for their smooth operation.

What We Did:

TenFour assisted ADHB in planning & installing an Audio Visual automation solution for their 13 new meeting rooms, using Zoom Web Conferencing, Electronic Whiteboards, Bring your own device (BYOD), Wireless Sharing & 120° camera for a seamless collaboration meeting experience.

These rooms ranged from small 4 person rooms to as large as 20 people meeting rooms. To accommodate this range, TenFour developed 4 unique room designs. These designs were specifically tailored for each room and ensured that each space was maximised to its full potential with a strong focus on guest ease of use and reliable connectivity.

Project Objectives:

Final Results:

TenFour design four meeting rooms types (A, B, C &D) which were similar in look feel and ease of use. They varied in screen size/projectors. We were able to deliver this project on time and on budget utilising our close relationships with suppliers such as Creston, Logitech,

An easy to use & intuitive 8-push button room controller from where room users select their desired source for their meeting was fixed on the wall in each room.
When a user selects a source from the panel it automatically powers the equipment ON and switches the room switcher to the selected input to be displayed.
All Audio levels are set on the hardware at a comfortable level. Users can adjust the room audio on the PC and /or Guest device output volume, delivered to the room via the display built-in speakers or ceiling speaker.
The OFF button on the controller turns the display OFF and resets the room for the next meeting.
Larger meeting rooms included high-definition projectors installed side-by-side on the front wall onto a low reflection whiteboard with a camera mounted in the centre.
High quality table-boxes sunk into the long meeting room table fully hide the retractable user connection cables but also provides wireless charging for mobile devices.
Ceiling mounted speakers ensures audio distribution is even in the space while ceiling mounted microphones capture participant audio during any online collaboration.
A Multi-adapter AV-Ring, tethered to the Guest HDMI retractable cable, ensures almost all BYOD devices can be connected to the room as it provides 5 x different interfaces in total: HDMI, Display Port, mini-Display port, USB-C and mini-HDMI.
In the larger meeting room two different sources of information can be displayed alongside each other or simultaneously on either of the 2 projected displays.
Meetings can be hosted via the room PC
Each room contains a wireless keyboard and mouse that users can connect to.
